CEDC's core programs areas are: the development of for-sale and multi-family rental housing for very low, low and moderate income families; homeownership education, counseling, loan packaging, and lending; property management; and community building and neighborhood revitalization.
Description
Under the supervision of the Property & Asset Management Director, the PROPERTY SUPERVISOR will oversee the day-to-day managerial operations and systems at 18 housing communities owned and managed by CEDC. Major duties: Supervise daily managerial operations and systems at approximately 18 properties. Prepare physical needs assessment and implement replacements. Prepare annual budgets for all properties. Request and review monthly, quarterly annual financial reports. Ensure compliance to reporting requirements to funders, investors, lenders, etc. Coordinate and oversee lease-up process and compliance. Conduct monthly physical inspections and audits at the properties.
Conduct quarterly property administrative reviews. Ensure that Resident Managers meet monthly accounting requirements. CEDC manages an affordable housing portfolio with Tax Credit HOME and USDA Rural Development financing.
Qualifications
Must have 3 - 5 years in various tax credit programs including USDA Rural Development tax credit experience desired.
Minimum 5 years in supervisory Property Management experience.
Minimum 2 years experience working with non-profit housing management. Must have strong public relations skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish). Experience working in the field(s) of community development, housing, and/or economic development.
Education
Minimum High School Diploma
Some college or B.A. or B.S. degree a plus!
