Qualifications
At least 3 years of APARTMENT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT experience is required. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, DO NOT APPLY. Sharp leasing and interpersonal skills are important. Providing professional and courteous service to residents is a must.
Additional Qualifications and Experience:
- Applicant screening
- Accounts receivable
- Handling resident disputes
- Move in, Pre-Move Out and Move Out inspections
- Presenting Unlawful Detainer cases in small claims court (as a witness only, outside law firm handles case management)
- Vendor and city administration relations
- Expedition of work orders
- Knowledge of legal notice system (ie: 3 Day Notice to Pay or Quit, Notice to Cure Covenant or Quit, etc...)
- Coordination of community activities
Characteristics:
- Able to keep a watchful eye on property
- Able to diffuse tense resident issues and provide a quick resolution while remaining neutral
- Thorough keeper of records (ie: all Tenant correspondence, work orders, etc...)
- Attentive to detail
- Excels at follow through
- Able to meet or beat deadlines
- Takes responsibility for accomplishing tasks
Must be Proficient in the following computer programs:
- Yardi
- Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher
