Description

On-site apartment manager for 150 tax credit apartments. Major duties and responsibilities include: marketing, leasing, rent collections, bank deposits, weekly and monthly reports. Tax credit compliance related paperwork, annual re-certifications in accordance with the property specific tax credit program requirements. Prepare purchase orders for maintenance repairs and purchases. Monitor property's operating budget and monthly reviews of financial statements. Provide monthly reports to management in compliance with regulatory requirements. Prepare maintenance work orders and purchase orders for materials for Maintenance staff. Participate in after-hours community building activities with residents. Enforce rules, policies and procedures. Emergency/On Call response in providing after-hours service to residents. Security of property. Attend monthly meetings and training seminars.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years property management work experience and personnel supervision experience. Tax credit reporting and compliance experience required. Working knowledge of State Fair Housing Laws. Computer proficient. Strong communications skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Bonding capacity. Valid California driver's license.

Education

High School Diploma or 2 year community college degree.
